Integrations

Connect QuoteTxt to the tools you already use — your calendar and QuickBooks.

Calendar feed

QuoteTxt can generate a private calendar feed (iCal format) of all your jobs. Subscribe to this feed from any calendar app — Google, Apple, Outlook, Android — to see jobs alongside the rest of your schedule.

The feed updates automatically as jobs are created and updated. You don't need to do anything to keep it current once it's connected.

1

Generate your calendar feed

Go to Settings → Integrations. Under Calendar feed, click Generate feed. This creates a unique private URL for your jobs calendar.

2

Copy the feed URL

Click Copy feed URL to copy the iCal subscription link to your clipboard. This URL is private to your account — don't share it publicly.

Heads up: Your calendar feed URL contains an authentication token. If you believe it's been compromised, you can regenerate a new feed URL from Settings → Integrations. The old URL will stop working.

Subscribing in Google Calendar

1

Open Google Calendar on desktop

Google Calendar's calendar subscription feature is only available on desktop, not the mobile app.

2

Add 'Other calendars'

In the left sidebar, click the + next to Other calendars, then choose From URL.

3

Paste your feed URL

Paste your QuoteTxt calendar feed URL into the field and click Add calendar. Google will import your jobs and keep the calendar synced going forward.

Note: Google Calendar syncs external feeds approximately every 12–24 hours. New jobs may not appear immediately. For real-time job viewing, use the Schedule view in QuoteTxt.

Subscribing in Apple Calendar

1

Open Calendar on Mac or iPhone

On Mac, open the Calendar app. On iPhone, open Calendar. The subscription process works on both.

2

Subscribe to a new calendar

On Mac: go to File → New Calendar Subscription. On iPhone: go to Calendars → Add Calendar → Add Subscription Calendar.

3

Paste your feed URL and subscribe

Paste your QuoteTxt feed URL and tap Subscribe. Your jobs will appear on your Apple Calendar, synced across all your Apple devices.

QuickBooks integration (Enterprise only)

The QuickBooks integration is available on Enterprise plans only. It connects QuoteTxt to your QuickBooks Online account to sync invoice data, reducing duplicate entry between your field operations and your accounting.

1

Verify you have an Enterprise plan

Check your plan in Settings → Billing & Usage or /pricing. The QuickBooks integration is locked on Basic, Pro, and Pro Plus plans.

2

Go to Settings → Integrations

Under QuickBooks, click Connect QuickBooks. You'll be redirected to Intuit's OAuth login flow.

3

Authorize access

Log in to your QuickBooks Online account and grant QuoteTxt permission to access your data. You'll be redirected back to Settings when authorization is complete.

4

Verify the connection

You should see your QuickBooks company name and a Connected status in Settings. From this point, invoice data will sync automatically.

5

Disconnecting QuickBooks

To disconnect, click Disconnect QuickBooks in Settings → Integrations. Your existing data in QuickBooks is not affected.

Heads up: QuickBooks authorization tokens expire periodically. If your connection stops working, return to Settings → Integrations and reconnect.
